NINA NINA WOLVERINA (2010 intro registered in 2009) 34" M 7" DOR EMO Red violet with grayed violet eye over creamy yellow to lime throat Variable Crispate Unusual Form.  Averaging 3-4 laterals and 35-43 buds, it makes small to medium sized fans.  A pod and pollen fertile diploid that first bloomed in 2005, it's thrown some wowser seedlings for me, color, shape and plant habit wise.  Named to honor my most wonderful, inspirational, generous and, most importantly, hilarious friend, Nina Lapierre (DALLAS STAR Seedling 2-12 X PURPLE CORN DANCER).
